 THANK YOU FOR REGISTERING FOR THE INAUGURAL LION PRIDE 5K.  PLEASE THOROUGHLY READ THE INFORMATION BELOW
Note about arrival.  Please plan to arrive to the race early.  We know Wilmington traffic betwen 5pm and 6pm can be heavy, so reminder to plan well for Thursday.  Give yourself extra time to arrive to the race site!

PACKET PICKUP - HAVE QR CODE ABOVE WITH YOU
Bib and t-shirt pickup will be available Wednesday 9/11 from 1:30-3:30 in front of the parish hall during school pickup.  
Bib and t-shirt pickup will be availbale Thursday 9/12 from 4:30-6:00 in the school gymnasium on race day

Wednesday September 11th

Early Packet Pickup at St. Mark School 1:30-3:30pm in front of the Parish Hall
This is for St. Mark families at pickup but anyone can show up if you want to avoid race day pickup - have QR Code ready.

Thursday September 12th 
4:30pm - Packet Pickup St. Mark Gymnasium
6:00pm - All Racers should be on site
6:00pm - All 400m Dash Runners report to the start line with your bib visible on the front
6:10pm - 400m Dash Start
6:20pm - All 5K runners report to start line with your bib visible on the front
6:26pm - National Anthem
6:30pm - 5K Start
6:32pm - 1 mile runners report to start line with your bib visible on the front
6:35pm - 1 mile start
6:40PM - Live Music from Masonboro Sound begins
7:00pm - Food and Beverages will be served at the Finish Line Area
7:45pm - Awards
9:00pm - Event Concludes

PARKING
Please arrive to the event via the Eastwood Rd Entrance to St. Mark School and Church. 

Our Knights of Columbus Parking crew will find a spot for you in the main parking lot.  Please park where they direct you to park. 

DO NOT PARK on the sides of the street in the Neighborhood behind the school. 

 
5K USATF COURSE MAP
This course is open and runs through the Tanbridge and Windemere neighborhoods. Residents have been notified, but streets will not be closed. Therefore, streets must remain open for residents to access their homes. Runners are required to follow standard road rules, share the road with vehicles, and be considerate to both cars and neighbors.

1 mile Course - The 1 mile will be an out and back course using Barrington to Bretonshire Rd.  It will turn around and return to Barrington into St. Mark parking lot to the finish.

400m Course - The 400m will be a 200m out and 200m back in the St. Mark School parking lot.

POST RACE FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Tacos will be provided by the St. Mark Catholic Church Hispanic Community

Hot dogs, chips, and soda will be provided by St. Mark Catholic Church and School; served by the Knights of Columbus
Food is for registered runners with a bib and also for those who have purchased food wristbands. Click FOOD WRISTBAND to prepurchase wristbands for $5. Wristbands will be available at the door for a $10 donation.

Beer is provided by Carolina Brewery and Wrightsville Beach Brewery.
